LBUSD Board of Education trustee who joined the board in 2006 after more than a decade of involvement in Laguna Beach schools (Laguna Presbyterian Preschool, Friendship Shelter, Top of the World Elementary, Thurston Middle School, Laguna Beach High School). Appears on board meeting agendas through at least 2018; exact end-of-tenure date unconfirmed. Identified in January 2025 reporting as one of two former trustees (with Peggy Wolff) — alongside sitting minority trustees Joan Malczewski and Jim Kelly — who raised concerns that the Morgan/Hills/Perry majority may have violated the Brown Act in coordinating on an interim-superintendent candidate. The majority denied the allegations.
